PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for washing dewatering suction roll in paper machine capable of more effectively removing dust, impurities or the like stuck on the surface and the dewatering hole of the suction roll even in a high-speed range and thus enabling the suction roll to afford its aimed drainage effect. SOLUTION: This dewatering suction roll 14 for paper machine has the following structure: a fibrous suspension is put into a papermaking gap formed between two sheets of wires 3 and 4 being in travel to form a fibrous band; wherein it is characteristic that a washing device 30 is equipped inside the suction roll 14.
