PURPOSE: An organic EL device and a method for fabricating the same are provided to improve color purity by increasing intensity of a desired wavelength. CONSTITUTION: A transparent electrode(44), an emitting layer(50), a semitransparent layer(52), a transparent layer(54), and a reflective electrode(56) are stacked on a substrate(42). The substrate(42) is formed with an organic substrate or a plastic substrate or an Si wafer. The transparent electrode(44) is formed by depositing or sputtering materials such as ITO, IZO, and ITZO. The emitting layer(50) is formed with a hole layer including a hole injection layer and a hole transport layer and an electron layer including an electron transport layer and an electron injection layer. The semitransparent layer(52) is formed with a material such as a metal foil. The transparent layer(54) is formed with the materials such as ITO, IZO, and ITZO. The reflective electrode(56) is formed with a material such as Al or Ag.
