PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which realizes high accuracy and high image quality by preventing the erroneous detection by dirt, flaws, etc., by knowing the end of patterns for detecting image deviations in case such patterns for detecting image deviations are read in to perform the correction by a pattern detecting means, by discarding such data and performing the correction by using only the data exactly reading only the patterns for detecting the image deviations in reading the data by the erroneous detection. SOLUTION: The patterns for detecting the image deviations correcting the deviations of the images and the patterns indicating the end timing of the patterns for detecting the image deviations are formed. When pattern width and spacing detecting means detects the widths of more than the specified time, the device recognizes the widths as the patterns indicating the end timing of the patterns for detecting the image deviation and reads the data read before the same as the data on the patterns for detecting the image deviations. |
