ALIGNING EQUIPMENT FOR STARTING SHEET FOR NONFERROUS METAL SMELTING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide equipment for transferring two starting sheets stripped from a base plate while aligning these sheets to the same direction in order to decrease the welding defects of lifting lugs to be performed in a sheet making process step. SOLUTION: In a stripping process step of stripping the starting sheets 2a and 2b for nonferrous metal smelting electrodeposited on both surfaces of the base sheet 1 to both sides and housing the stripped starting sheets 2a and 2b into containers 13, the aligning equipment 10 for the starting sheets for nonferrous metal smelting comprises a transfer machine 8 which transfers the stripped starting sheets 2a and 2b to the containers 13, a turntable 14 which is loaded with the containers 13 and is swivelable and driving means 24 which swivels the turntable 14 180 deg.. While the turntable 14 is rotated 180 deg. by driving means 24 by each of the transfer of the starting sheets 2a and 2b cooperatively with the action of the transfer machine 8, the turntable is swiveled, by which the starting sheets 2a and 2b are aligned to the same direction.
