<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate mounting an accessory unit to a body unit and adjustment of a mounting position. SOLUTION: In an original reader provided with a hinge device having a base member to be mounted on the upper face of the body unit and an arm member to which an original feeder that carries the original laid on the body of the original reader by being connected freely rotatably to one end side of the base member is mounted, the original reader is characterized in that a plate-like holding member to clip and hold the base member in-between the upper face of the body of the original reader and a mounting member to mount the holding member to the upper face of the body of the original reader are provided, and the holding members are mounted on the upper face of the body of the original reader at plural places by the mounting members.</p> |
