摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insert by which the extended life span of a tool and productivity can be obtained with relation to turning processing parts of a titanium alloy. SOLUTION: This cemented carbide cutting tool insert comprises Co of 5 to 7 by Wt% and WC in the remaining portion for turning processing the titanium alloy, and is characterized that the surface is covered with the Co layer of 0.5 to 8μm at least partially by carrying out heat treatment in the atmosphere of Ar and Co after a sintering process and grinding in order to finish to final forming dimensions.
