PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft which does not concentrate stress at the base of a shaft part while mounting a rotating member without looseness. SOLUTION: In a structure with which a base part 12 having a thrust face 19 and the shaft part 11 erected from the thrust face 19 of the base part 12 are provided, and in which the rotating member is mounted in a state being energized to the thrust face 19, firstly, a) an annular groove 39 recessed along an outer circumferential face of the shaft part 11 from the thrust face 19 is provided, and at the same time, b) the stress applied at the base of the shaft part 11 can be dispersed since an inner circumferential wall of the annular groove 39 is formed with a round face 40 smoothly connected with the outer circumferential face of the shaft part 11. Secondly, c) the rotating member can be mounted without looseness even being in the structure in which the stress can be dispersed since the outer circumferential face of the shaft part 11 and an extension line of the thrust face 19 are provided perpendicularly.
