PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mixture of isomers of a hydrogenated bisphenol A which is excellent in compatibility with other resin raw materials and paint solvents and is capable of suitably using as raw materials for polyester resin-based paints without spoiling the genuine performance of the paints. SOLUTION: The mixture of isomers of the hydrogenated bisphenol A is characterized in that the mixture contains three kinds of isomers of cis-cis form, cis-trans form and trans-trans form and in that the content of the trans- trans form in the mixture of isomers is 36-45%, and the method for producing the mixture of isomers of the hydrogenated bisphenol A is characterized in that the bisphenol A is subjected to catalytic hydrogenation reaction using a ruthenium catalyst in the presence of an aliphatic alcohol-based solvent and/or a glycol ether-based solvent, at a temperature ranging from 100 deg.C to 130 deg.C, and under a pressurized hydrogen.
