PURPOSE: A microwave dielectric ceramic composition comprising Ba(Zn1/3Ta2/3)O3 and BaZrO3 as main components is provided, which has high dielectric constant, large Q value and low temperature coefficient of resonant frequency. CONSTITUTION: The dielectric ceramic composition used for microwave applications is prepared by mixing Ba(Zn1/3 Ta2/3)O3 and BaZrO3 in a molar ratio of x : y (x: 0.9-1.0, y: 0-0.1, x+y=1), respectively, and adding at least one compound selected from Mn(MnO, MnCO3, Mn(NO3)2?6H2O), NiO, MgO and SiO2. The added amount is as follows: 0.001-0.05wt.% Mn, 0.0001-1.0wt.% NiO, 0.0001-0.5wt.% MgO, and 0.0001-0.5wt.% SiO2. In case of adding MnO and SiO2, the molar ratio of MnO : SiO2 is 2.5-4 : 3.5-5.
