PURPOSE: A permanent magnet type linear motor is provided to enhance impellent force and promote a heat-sink characteristic by improving a structure of the linear motor. CONSTITUTION: A mover(21) includes a plurality of permanent magnets(27). A stator(11) includes a coil. The coil of the stator(11) interacts with the permanent magnets(27) of the mover(21). The stator(11) is formed with a stator yoke(13), a stator core(15) projected from the stator yoke(13), and a plurality of stator coils(17) wound around the stator core(15). The plural stator coils(17) are used for forming a magnetic field. The mover(21) is formed with a mover yoke(23), a plurality of permanent magnets(27), and a plurality of mover coils(25). The mover yoke(23) is arranged at one side of the stator yoke(13). The permanent magnets(27) are arranged along a longitudinal direction of the mover yoke(23). The mover coils(25) is projected between the permanent magnets(27).
