PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which makes high transfer efficiency obtainable while reducing a cost by omitting a primary transfer high-voltage power source. SOLUTION: This image forming device includes a photosensitive drum (photoreceptor) 1 which is an image carrying member, a primary electrostatic charging device (electrostatic charging means) which electrostatically charges the surface of the photosensitive drum 1, electrostatic charging quantity regulating means which regulates the output of this primary electrostatic charging device, 2, exposure means 3 which exposes the surface of the photosensitive drum 1, exposure regulating means which regulates the output of the exposure means 3, a developing device (developing mean) 4 which develops the toner image onto the photosensitive drum 1 and developing bias regulating means which regulates the biasing to the developing device 4. The image forming device described above transfers the toner image developed on the photosensitive drum 1 to an intermediate transfer belt (intermediate transfer body) 51 by a grounded transfer roller (contact transfer member) 53, then retransfers the toner image on the intermediate transfer belt 51 to a recording member. The regulation value of at least one of the electrostatic charging quantity regulating means, the exposure regulating means and the developing bias regulating means. |
