PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding core for a photograph photosensitive material having an excellent automatic winding property and reducing a failure in winding. SOLUTION: On this winding core for the photograph photosensitive material, a band type photograph photosensitive material slit by a specified width is wound up without using any tape. The winding core is provided with a groove arranged on the outer circumference part surface, and a ratio between a groove width, a groove depth, and a groove interval ranges from 1:1:1 to 1:1:5.
