MOUNTAIN STREAM AREA SURVEYING TAG SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mountain stream area surveying tag system which lightens the work load on a person surveying and improves the survey accuracy at a survey point by simplifying the searching work for a survey tag to determine the position of the surveying point in a mountain stream area. SOLUTION: A modem modulates a searching position code inputted through a keyboard 10b of a searching unit 2 to a searching signal, which is then wirelessly transmitted by a transmitter-receiver. A transmitter-receiver in a surveying tag 1 receives the searching signal transmitted from the searching unit 2, and a modem demodulates this signal to a searching position code which is then compared with a true point code stored in a true position code memory. When both codes are identified, a high brightness lamp 5 blinks on the tag 1, together with a large volume sound produced by a powerful sound buzzer 6. If a person surveying recognizes both the blinking of the lamp and the buzzer sound, he can recognize the installed location of the tag 1 to determine a surveying point.
