PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording head and an ink jet recording apparatus which surely eliminates bubbles even in a pressure generating chamber having a shape suitable for achieving high density of nozzle and carrying out stable ink ejection. SOLUTION: A nozzle 11 and an ink supply port 13 are disposed so that the point of intersection on a side where the ink supply port 13 is not disposed, among points of intersection formed by the straight line passing the projected point indicating the arrangement position of the nozzle and the point indicating the arrangement position of the ink supply port 13 and the lines of the bottom face of the pressure generating chamber 12, is to be disposed on the line of the bottom face except the corner parts of the pressure generating chamber 12.
