PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal-processing method having improved quick response properties and resolution, without increasing the resolution in an encoder, when sampling time is reduced. SOLUTION: In a signal-processing method for generating a digital processing method for generating a digital position signalθand a digital speed signal wb, using an analog A-phase signal Saa in proportion with the sign of an actual position being outputted from a position sensor 1 for measuring an actual position to be measured and an analog B-phase signal Sab in proportion with the cosine of the actual position, the digital position signalθis generated, based on the analog A-phase signal and the analog B-phase signal Sab; an analog speed signal Wa in proportional to the actual speed is generated, based on the analog A-phase signal Saa and the analog B-phase signal Sab; and the analog speed signal Wa is A/D-converted to generate the digital speed signal wb.
