<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding method which takes advantage of the outstanding characteristics of high-density energy beam welding. SOLUTION: In joining the lap fillet zone X of a metallic plate 1 on a front side and metallic plate 2 on a rear side superposed on each other by irradiating the fillet zone with the high-density energy beam, the high-density energy beam E is cast toward an end face 1b of the metallic plate 1 in the front side in order to weld the joint surfaces Y of the metallic plate 1 on the front side and the metallic plate 2 on the rear side.</p> |
