GUIDE STRUCTURE OF TOP-RAILED SLIDING DOOR UNIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent usual shaking of the main body of a top-railed sliding door on the door stop face side and damage of a vertical frame part of a door frame, to reinforce the main body of the sliding door and thereby to make opening and closing operations smooth. SOLUTION: The present top-railed sliding door unit 1 has a constitution wherein a passage part and fittings are juxtaposed laterally inside the door frame 6 and the main body 2 of the door is made movable laterally between the passage part and the front of the fittings. One end side of a guide bar 4 for steadiness is fitted to the lower end part of the main body 2 of the door of which the upper end part is suspended from an upper rail 3. The other end side of the guide bar 4 is projected by almost the same dimension as the lateral width of the main body 2 of the door from the lateral end face opposite to the door stop face side in the lower end part of the main body 2 of the door, while a projecting portion of the guide bar 4 is inserted slidably into a lower guide rail 5 installed outside the passage part.
