PURPOSE: A ticket issue and authentication method is provided to enable a client to extract a code, visibly or invisibly displayed on a printed or image expression media, from a pattern by using an image acquisition equipment, and to automatically access a ticket issuing web site by using the code. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises several steps. First, a code management server generates a pattern with a code, stores the code and a location address corresponding to the code at a database and offers the pattern to a ticket issuing server in a case that the ticket issuing server requests a code. Then the ticket issuing server generates and stores authentication data on the code pattern, inserts the code into a code expression media, and offers the media to a client. The client acquires a pattern image from the code expression media, extracts the code from the code expression media, and offers the extracted code to the code management server(ST300, ST310, ST320). The code management server searches for a location address corresponding to the transmitted code, and transmits the searched location address to the client terminal. The client terminal accesses a ticket issuing server by using the location address, enables the client to purchase the ticket, and stores authentication data on the purchased ticket at a mobile terminal(ST340, ST350, ST360). A terminal, installed at a real service place, acquires the authentication data displayed on the mobile terminal of the client, and transmits the acquired authentication data to the ticket issuing server. Finally, the ticket issuing server checks the transmitted authentication data, and transmits the check result to the terminal, installed at a real service place.
