PURPOSE: A level shifter is provided, which reduces the number of transistors to enable level shifts of various levels like a positive voltage and a negative voltage. CONSTITUTION: The first transistor transfers VCC to the first node by being turned on according to a control signal. The second transistor transfers a zero potential to the first node(n1) by being turned on according to the control signal. The third transistor transfers a potential of the first node to the second node(n2) by being turned on by the VCC. The fourth transistor transfers the potential of the first node to the third node(n3) by being turned on by the zero potential. The fifth transistor transfers the first potential to the output by being turned on according to a potential of the second node. And the sixth transistor transfers the second potential to the output by being turned on according to a potential of the third node.
