PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-based writing tool wherein when the writing tool is made to an upward posture and a back-flow stopping agent flows reversely and is lowered with a cylindrical body, there exists no possibility of leakage of ink to the outside. SOLUTION: In this water-based writing tool, a pen body chip 20 is fixed on its apex part and a refill 1 wherein the tail end side of an ink cylinder 10 the inside of which is filled with a water-based ink is sealed by a cylindrical body 30 the periphery of which is coated with a paste-like back-flow stopping agent 31 is arranged in a shaft cylinder 10. In this case, a stopper consisting of a longitudinal rib 61 or a flange part is formed on the inner face of a tail stopper 60 fitted on the tail end of the shaft cylinder and when the pen body chip is made to an upward posture and the cylindrical body is lowered with the back-flow stopping agent, the tail end of the cylindrical body is brought into contact with the stopper of the tail stopper to prevent it from falling down from the ink cylinder. |
