PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To actualize a liquid crystal projector device having a microlens with small color mixing and good coloration. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal projector has a lamp 1, a reflector 2, a polarized light converting prism 3, a multi-lens array 4, an image forming lens 5, a color separating means 6, a liquid crystal panel 8 equipped with the microlens and apertures, and a projection lens 9. The color separating means 6 is composed of a combination of a 1st color separating dichroic mirror 61, and a 2nd color separating dichroic mirror 62 and a 3rd color separating dichroic mirror 63 corresponding to the apertures on the optical axis of the microlens; and the both are arranged at a spatial interval to separate the optical paths so that the reflected light of the 1st dichroic mirror 61 is not reflected by the 2nd dichroic mirror 62, and a color composing dichroic mirror 7 is arranged on the optical axis. |
