<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact driving unit for a tensioner. SOLUTION: The driving unit for the belt tensioner has two side plates being in parallel with each other, a driving shaft 10 arranged between side plates, and a first and a second ends 16, 18 which are connected to the driving shaft 10, and has a driving band for forming a loop 22 at least a part of which is wound around the driving shaft 10, expanding the loop 22 together with the side plates, unwinding the loop 22 from the driving shaft 10, and forming a driving chamber emitting the gas to be introduced so as to rotate the driving shaft 10, and a fixing unit 28 for fixing the predetermined part of the driving band 20 to the plate at the predetermined position between the first end and the second end, and restricting the expansion of the loop 22 toward at least one direction.</p> |
