PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid level sensor which solves the problem of overflowing stoppers and protection of contacts of a float arm at the same time, and increases the reliability. SOLUTION: In front of a frame 2, stoppers 9a and 9b which regulate the range of turn angle of a float arm 3 by contacting the float arm 3 are provided. Moreover, an arm holder 4 has a cover part 41 which stops ride-over by contacting at a part of the frame 2 of the float arm 3, before it rises over the stoppers 9a and 9b by exceeding its radius r. Furthermore, the cover part 41 covers from above a contact piece 5 which is interlocked with the float arm 3.
