The highest magnetic flux density in the direction of a contact between the development main pole P1 and the developer carrying pole P2, which is downstream from the main pole P1 in the direction of the carrying of the developer, is 80% or more of the highest magnetic flux density in the direction of the normal of the development main pole P1.
