METHOD FOR PRODUCING ULTRAFINE FIBER NONWOVEN FABRIC

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for stably producing an ultrafine fiber nonwoven fabric having excellent quality by improving opening properties and peelability and splittability of peeling and splitting type conjugated fibers composed of a polyamide polymer and a polyester polymer. SOLUTION: The ratio of the circular arc length of the polyamide polymer to the circular arc length of the polyester polymer occupying the circumference of a fiber cross section is within the range of 0.1-2.0 in the peeling and splitting type conjugated fibers composed of the polyamide polymer and the polyester polymer. The peeling and splitting type conjugated fibers comprising 0.3-3.0 wt.% of polyalkylene glycols in at least one polymer are subjected to a peeling and splitting treatment to produce the ultrafine fiber nonwoven fabric.
