PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device and a manufacturing method therefor capable of reducing the number of processes while securing high accuracy of alignment, and to be more preferable, reducing consumption of raw materials. SOLUTION: A color filter 10R, a color filter 10G, and a color filter 10B formed of negative resist films are exposed at the same time by using a photo mask shading the areas to be connected with transparent pixel electrodes behind each source electrode 8. Next, the color filter 10R, the color filter 10G, and the color filter 10B are developed at the same time. Since the color filter 10R, the color filter 10G, and the color filter 10B are formed of the negative resist films, the shaded areas, namely, each color filter areas corresponding to the areas to be connected with the transparent pixel electrodes behind each source electrode 8 is removed by this development, and the opening parts are formed. |
