PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expanded polyester resin particle good in flexibility. SOLUTION: The expanded polyester resin particle contains a diol component and a dicarboxylic acid component. The base resin is a polyester copolymer which contains a terephthalic acid component unit and an adipic acid and/or succinic acid component unit and of which the melting point ranges 90-150 deg.C. The apparent density ranges 0.02-0.6 g/cm<3> .
