PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently cool an optical system with a small amount of airflow in a projector device in which a light source and the optical system are arranged in the casing to project a video light from the optical system frontward. SOLUTION: The projector device is provided with one or more air intake windows 72 for introducing air from the outside of the casing, and one or more trunk air outlets 64 for blowing off the air to the optical system. An air channel that is partitioned with the internal space of the casing and extends from the air intake window 72 to the trunk air outlet 64 is formed. A cooling fan 67 is installed in the air channel. The cooling of the optical system is carried out by blowing only the air taken in from the outside of the casing through the air intake window 72 from the trunk air outlet 64 to the optical system.
