PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measurement method for simply measuring the film thickness of a transparent paint film. SOLUTION: In the film-thickness measurement method for the paint film, the calibration curve diagram of the film thickness is generated in advance according to the reflection factor of ultraviolet rays, being applied to the surface of a standard test piece where a transparent paint film where an ultraviolet absorbent is mixed is formed, and the film thickness of the paint film, ultraviolet rays are applied to the surface of a piece to be tested that is manufactured, by applying a transparent paint having the same composition as the standard test piece onto a substrate surface, and the film thickness of the body to be tested is calculated, based on the calibration curve diagram from the reflection factor of the ultraviolet rays.
