ELECTRIC COOKING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closed type electric cooking device capable of decreasing warm-up time and baking time of food materials by raising the temperature of a cooking space in a casing member as fast as possible. SOLUTION: The electric cooking device comprises the casing part 1, an infrared ray lamp 6 for radiating infrared rays including far infrared radiation disposed in the casing part 1 and a temperature rise accelerating means for accelerating the rise of the temperature of the cooking space 9 in the casing part 1 upon start of lighting of the infrared ray lamp 6. The temperature rise accelerating means improves the rise characteristics of the infrared ray lamp 6, changes the heat transfer to the cooking space 9 from the infrared ray lamp 6 and uses the radiation of heat of the infrared ray lamp 6.
