PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting structure of a large end part of a connecting rod which can prevent generation of breakage of serrations by uniforming stress of the serrations in the longitudinal direction of the serrations, and at the same time, by reducing the stress level, and, can improve durability of the connecting rod without increasing outside dimensions and weight of the connecting rod in the connecting rod with a shape divided slantwise in which a joint of the large end part arid a cap is constituted by serration teeth. SOLUTION: In the connecting structure of the large end part of the connecting rod with the shape divided slantwise in which the joint of the large end part and the cap to be fastened with bolts in pair to the large end part, and which is constituted by the serration teeth in which a pitch line is inclined at a prescribed angle to the center of the connecting rod, the serration teeth are characterized in that the pitch of the outer site from a bolt hole for inserting-through the bolt is formed larger than the pitch of the inner site.
