摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a delicate adjustment under operating condition of a compression ignition engine by enabling torque adjustment during operation which is unable to be performed in conventional governor devices in which the Angleich spring mechanism for torque control is incorporated in the housing. SOLUTION: The governor lever mechanism comprises a tension lever 12 supported freely rotatably on a governor lever shaft 15, the governor lever 11 supported freely rotatably on the tension lever and a torque lever 27. The Angleich spring mechanism 19 for torque control is provided to the tension lever. The torque lever is controlled by the mechanism 19 so as to control the injection amount of a fuel injection pump through the medium of the governor lever. The governor case 8 is provided with a limiting bolt 33 which is operable from the outside and abutted to the tension lever 12 from the outside, and with a limiting bolt 32 abutted to the mechanism 19, which enables maximum torque adjustment during engine operation.
