PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent or reduce a jumping phenomenon of a power transmission chain on a sprocket. SOLUTION: The chain 100 comprises a plurality of inside link plates 10 and outside link plates 12 alternately arranged with their ends mutually connected via pins 14. The ends of the outside link plates 12 are formed in rectangular shape on a sprocket side 16 and the rectangular ends of the outside link plates 12 neighboring each other interfere with each other at a predetermined quantity of turning to limit the curvature movement of the outside link plates 12 around the pins to the predetermined quantity of turning.
