PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a group such as a family or a group of friends to confirm the safety of all of members included in the group rapidly and certainly. SOLUTION: The password common to the same group is transmitted to a server computer along with the ID of a portable terminal to be registered in a database. The data of the present position of the portable terminal is acquired by utilizing GPS upon the reception of the request from the other member of the same group, and the acquired data of the present position is transmitted to the server computer along with the ID of the portable terminal to be stored in the data base. Thereafter, the database is searched corresponding to the confirmation request of safety from the portable terminal, the IDs of the portable terminals of all of the members of the same group having the same password and the position data thereof are extracted to be transmitted from the server computer by a radio wave to be received by the portable terminal, and the position of the members of the same group is displayed on the screen of the display part of the portable terminal along with map data.
