COVERED POWDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a covered powder capable of increasing reflective intensity without increasing opacifying properties, giving a natural finish and a finish having transparent feeling without harming feeling of use to the cosmetic using the same and giving a better finish of high lightness and high chroma than that of an usual cosmetic containing an interference pearl. SOLUTION: The covered powder comprises the powder of which the surface of the mica covered with titanium dioxide is covered with a metal or a metal oxide having a lower refractive index than that of the titanium dioxide and the amount of the metal or the metal oxide is 0.5-7 wt.% of the covered powder.
