PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intermediate stopper for a reservoir tank, which allows storing kerosene in the reservoir tank, when a supply pump is fitted to the reservoir tank, without permitting foreign matter to enter thereinto or permitting the kerosene to evaporate therefrom, while the supply pump is kept inserted into the reservoir tank, and which dispenses with annoying operation of wiping off overflown kerosene. SOLUTION: The intermediate stopper is used with an oil supply pump so constituted that an intake pipe and an outlet pipe are connected to an electric motor-driven pump or a hand pump with an open/close valve intermediately equipped, with the intake pipe being inserted into the supply opening of a reservoir tank and the outlet pipe being inserted into the inlet opening of an inlet tank, thereby allowing the oil in the reservoir tank to be supplied to the inside of the inlet tank by means of electrically or manually operating the pump proper, and the stopper is so formed that it can be removably and oil-tightly inserted into the supply opening of the reservoir tank, and is formed with an intake hole and an outlet hole therethrough into which the intake pipe and the outlet pipe are oil-tightly inserted, while it is divided into two parts, a first intermediate stopper part and a second intermediate stopper part 13, 14, along the dividing lines that pass through the approximate axial lines of the intake hole and the outlet hole. |
