PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, as for a low-tension fire-resisting cable that is provided with a fire-resisting insulation layer comprising a silicone resin composition on the conductor, good fire resistance and at the same time enhanced electrical insulation for the fire-resisting insulation layer upon heating. SOLUTION: The silicone resin composition is the one which incorporates glass frits that have a softening initiation temperature of <=500 deg.C and a crystallization initiation temperature of <=840 deg.C in the silicone resin and in which the content of alkali metals in the total amount of the composition is 1.0×10<-4> to 15×10<-4> mol per 1 g of the silicone resin. The low-tension fire-resisting cable is given which is provided, on the conductor 1, with the fire-resisting insulation layer 2 that comprises the above silicone resin and is crosslinked. |
