PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens cylinder which can automatically adjust a distance by a motor by transmitting the driving force from the motor to a distance adjusting cylinder during automatic focus adjustment, and also transmit the driving force from a manual adjusting cylinder to the distance adjusting cylinder during manual focus adjustment without any switching operation and has a power transmitting mechanism transmitting none of the driving force from the manual adjusting cylinder to the motor side. SOLUTION: Lock levers 14 and 15 are pivoted on the automatic adjusting cylinder so that a driving ring 10 can be locked to the automatic adjusting cylinder 6, and respective one-end sides of wires 20 and 21 are locked to the lock levers 14 and 15 and respective the other-end sides are fixed to the manual adjusting cylinder 7. The automatic focus adjustment is carried out through the driving ring 10, lock levers 14 and 15, and automatic adjusting cylinder 6 and the manual focus adjustment is performed through the wires 20 and 21, lock levers 14 and 15, and automatic adjusting cylinder 6 without transmitting none of the manual driving force to the motor side. |
