PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology to improve picture quality by diversifying the type of dots. SOLUTION: In this printing apparatus, a mask pattern to be served as a reference for the generation of a mask signal for selectively masking a plurality of pulses of an original drive signal can be changed at every pixel. Thus, it becomes possible to increase the type of dots to be used in the printing apparatus, thereby the picture quality can be improved. |
