PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably supply ink to a recording head for high-speed printing for a long time. SOLUTION: When the ink is supplied to a sub-tank 2 from a main tank 11, an atmospheric opening valve 22 makes the inside of the sub-tank 2 opened to the atmosphere, and a negative pressure generating part 26 is expanded to supply the ink to the sub-tank 2 from an ink supply part 21. After the sub- tank 2 is refilled with the ink, the valve 22 is blocked to contract the generating part 26, generate negative pressure in the sub-tank 2 and prevent a bad influence from being exerted on the ink which is supplied to the recording head 3 in order to be used for the printing. |
