PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reporting device for meteorological information in a car navigation system, by which the meteorological information in a plurality of regions in the halfway part of a running route can be obtained, without actually running up to the regions, and by which the necessity of a preparation such as a chain mounting operation or the like can be warned, in advance in a specific region inside the running route. SOLUTION: A control unit 1 which controls the device as a whole in a complex manner is installed, a communication part 3 which is connected to the control unit 1 communicates with the supply source of the meteorological information so as to obtain the meteorological information 3a, it obtains VICS data received b an antenna 2 through a command from the control unit 1, and a position detection part 4 which is connected to the control unit 1 detects the position of an own vehicle, on the basis of satellite radio waves for position information detection. Map data 5, which is stored in a CD-ROM 6 is input to the control unit 1, and an operating key part 7 is connected to the control unit 1. A display 9, which displays a running route screen, a meteorological information screen, a warning screen or the like is connected to the control unit 1 via a display control unit 8. A loudspeaker 11 which performs various voice guide operations is connected to the control unit 1 via an amplifier 10. |
