PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the inversion of potential between an analog power supply voltage and an analog signal voltage in a source driver IC chip. SOLUTION: In a source driver in an image display device which has scanning signal lines, image signal lines and an analog power supply, a plurality of source driver IC chips 4 are arranged to drive a prescribed number of the image signal lines and/or the scanning signal lines. Wiring is branched from the power supply and is connected to the respective source driver IC chips 4. The chips 4 have voltage dividing resistor r10 which are used to adjust the voltage being supplied from the power supply, a buffer 11, analog switches 9 and a sample and hold circuit 14 which outputs image signals to the image signal lines using the adjusted voltage. The voltage supplied from the power supply is adjusted in accordance with the lengths of the wiring from the power supply to the IC chips.
