摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflective liquid crystal display element which has its productivity and yield improved. SOLUTION: A manufacturing method for obtaining a plurality of reflective liquid crystal elements by manufacturing a stuck substrate having a desired cell gap formed by sticking a silicon IC substrate where image display parts formed almost in matrix and a transparent substrate together and then parting the substrate is characterized by the steps of forming a plurality of cuts with depth less than the thickness of the silicon IC substrate in the surface part other than an image display part on the side of the image display part of the silicon IC substrate before the stuck substrate is formed; forming the stuck substrate by sticking the transparent substrate on the silicon IC substrate with the cuts with an adhesive; forming a plurality of cuts or flaws at positions corresponding to the cuts outside the stuck transparent substrate; and parting the stuck silicon IC substrate and transparent substrate at the same time by giving an impact to the cut parts formed in the surface part other than the image display part of the stuck silicon IC substrate.
