PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument for measuring a track-center distance, which measures the distance between track center lines of both tracks laid in such a manner as to be adjacent to each other. SOLUTION: The instrument for measuring the track-center distance is composed of a main beam 101 which is extended in a direction crossing a rail, an auxiliary beam 102 which is mounted in a T-shape in such a manner as to be orthogonal to the main beam 101, a reference base 100 which is fixed to an area wherein the auxiliary beam 102 is mounted on the main beam 101, guide rollers 104 which are mounted at both ends of the auxiliary beam 102, a wire winding type displacement sensor 200 and a data collector 300, which are mounted on a top surface of the reference base 100, and a rail-catch part 400 which is coupled to an end of a wire 201 paid out of the sensor 200.
