PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caster having a small size and preventing noise such as squeak noise when running on an irregular part of a road or the like or getting over a step. SOLUTION: A fork 1 is divided into an upper fork 1a and a lower fork 1b, the lower part of the upper fork 1a is provided with a buffer mechanism 4 where a buffer rubber 12 is fixed between an outer cylinder 10 and an inner cylinder 11, the upper part of the lower fork 1b is journalled to a through shaft 5 to be rotatable, a wheel 6 is journalled to an axle 7 in the lower part of the lower fork 1b to be rotatable, both ends of the outer cylinder 10 are fixed to the lower fork 1b, both ends of the inner cylinder 11 are fixed to the upper fork 1a, and journaling parts of the upper fork 1a and the lower fork 1b are displaced from the vertical line of the axle 7.
