摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability of an obstacle detection sensor 36 used in an automatic traveling vehicle. SOLUTION: Magnets 50 are embedded in a travel road before proceeding into a curve and after traveling through the curve in the case the travel road for automatic traveling vehicle has the curve. When the automatic traveling vehicle recognizes the magnets before processing into the curve, the angle of a sensor main body 37 is preliminarily controlled so as to face a direction in which the travel road curves. In addition, the angle of the sensor main body 37 is made to be changed according to the radius of curvature of the curve. When the automatic traveling vehicle recognizes the magnets 50 after that, the angle of the sensor main body 37 is controlled to face ahead of the automatic traveling vehicle, recognizing that the automatic traveling vehicle has traveled through the curve.
