PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance reliability and durability by increasing the mechanical strength, thermal strength and waterproofness of a coil, which is mounted on an object to be heated and heats the object inductively, in a snow-melting device for a switch part of a track, which prevents accumulation of snow and freezing at the switch part of the railroad track from causing the impossibility of switching from one track to another. SOLUTION: An inverter makes a high-frequency current supplied to a heating coil unit 5 which is mounted on a member to be heated such as a stock rail 3, a tongue rail and a base plate, so as to heat the member inductively. The unit 5 is constituted in such a manner as to make a coil case 7 housed in an outer hull member 6 forming an outer hull, make the coil 8 housed in the coil case 7 via an electrical insulating means, and make power supplied from the inverter.
