PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic norbornene resin composition prepared by improving moldability, moisture permeability and adhesive properties and suppressing thermal degradation and occurrence of defects during melt-processing without impairing heat resistance and transparency of a thermoplastic norbornene polymer, and to provide a molding or an optical film prepared by melt-processing or extrusion of the same. SOLUTION: The melt-processable thermoplastic norbornene resin composition comprises a base polymer (A) comprising a thermoplastic norbornene resin and an olefinic compound (B) having a number average molecular weight of 200-10,000 and a softening point of 70-170C. The molding or the optical film is provided by melt-processing or extruding the thermoplastic norbornene resin composition.
