PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus capable of obtaining control data for detecting changes in alcohol contents in water-color ink during printing and holding them constant. SOLUTION: This apparatus for monitoring the alcohol contents in the water- color ink for measuring changes in the ratio of the alcohol contents in the water-color ink by measuring the conductivity of the water-color ink is provided. The monitoring apparatus is provided with an apparatus for determining the amount of addition by detecting the changes in the alcohol contents during printing in real time and computing the difference to a reference value. Well- known techniques are used for constructing an adding mechanism and a verifying mechanism. To be concrete, the monitoring apparatus is constituted of a conductivity measuring sensor (1), a data processing device (2) in which a conductivity-alcohol concentration conversion table is embedded, and a display device and a printer (3). |
