PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of stably forming an image by preventing the deviation of a developing device regardless of driving load even when the using conditions of the developing device are different. SOLUTION: In this image forming device equipped with a plurality of developing devices, the driving means of every developing device for driving the plurality of developing devices and a transfer means for transferring the images on the plurality of developing devices; the images on the plurality of developing devices are directly transferred to a recording medium or secondarily transferred to the recording medium after they are primarily transferred to an intermediate transfer body, whereby the image is formed. The image forming device is equipped with a measuring means for measuring the time from starting the driving of the respective developing devices until attaining specified processing speed and a starting control means for controlling the starting of the driving means according to the measured time, and the driving control is performed for each of the plurality of developing devices so that each developing device may attain the specified processing speed in specified time after starting the driving. |
